Gilbert Kohlhof

Gilbert Kohlhof, age 73, of Pine River, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at his home. He was born June 15, 1937, in Vesta, MN, to Herbert and Irene Kohlhof. Gilbert grew up in the Redwood Falls area and graduated from Redwood Falls High School in 1956. He served in the US Army for four years and retired from the airline industry after 37 years. He loved his family and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Twins and Vikings.

Gilbert is survived by his wife, Nancy; children: Gari Kohlhof, Rick Kohlhof (Pris), Kevin Kohlhof (Sarah); stepdaughters: Chris Gottschling, Cindy Olson; stepson, Michael Oster; grandchildren: Melissa, Garrett, Greg, Dakota, Maverick, McKenna, Kory, Kacey, Kelly, Jenny, Tara, Emily, Rachel, Liz, Jessica, Ben, Nick; great grandchild, Taylor; sister, Elaine Miesen (Tom); brothers: Denton Kohlhof (Eileen), and Bill Kohlhof (Roberta).

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Douglas.

Services will be 11 AM on Saturday, July 10, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hackensack, with Pastor Michael Small officiating.
