Geraldine "Jerry" Tollefsrud, age 94, of Pine River, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on September 30, 2016. Jerry was born October 17, 1921, to Oscar and Mitilda Thiers in Pequot Lakes. She married Charles "Shorty" Tollefsrud in 1940.
Jerry is survived by her children: Wayne of St. Louis, MO, Ron (Laurie) of St. Louis, MO, Karen (Jim) Nelson of Aitkin, MN, Sandi (Pat) Growney of Nisswa, MN, JoAnn Tollefsrud of Pine River; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and sister, Gladys Huntly of Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Shorty; son, Gary; granddaughter, Jaci; grandson, Rick; and siblings: Dorothy "Dode" Norman, George, Harry and Melvin.
Services will be 2 PM on Saturday, October 8, at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River.
