Geraldine Hanson

Geraldine Violet Hanson, 75, of Brainerd, died Friday, November 7, 2008 at St. Josephs Medical Center in Brainerd. Services for Geraldine will be at 11 AM, Tuesday, November 11 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Friends are welcome to gather one hour prior to services.
Geraldine was born March 26, 1933 in Brainerd, the daughter of William and Matilda (Austin) Abrahamson. She worked for a number of years at Meyer Cleaners in Brainerd before she retired in 1998. Geraldine enjoyed reading, puzzles and crosswords.

She will be deeply missed by her children, Karen Nichols, of Treasure Island, FL, Diane Babbe, of Madeira Beach, FL, and Steven Babbe, of Boston, MA; six grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Curtis Abrahamson, of Brainerd, William Abrahamson, Jr., of Merrifield, Grace Anderson, of Brainerd, Dorothy Miller, of Proctor, Marilyn Montming, of Sartell, and Donna Stearns, of Monticello; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Matilda (Austin) Abrahamson and her sister, Susan Matten.
