Gerald Opheim
July 2, 1941 — August 13, 2012
Gerald W. Opheim, 71, of Golden Valley, MN, passed away suddenly on Monday, August 13, 2012 at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby.
Jerry will be missed by his beloved wife, Alice; children, Wendy (Brian) Hoverson, Terry (Jim) Gullixson, and David (Lynne) Opheim; step-children, Kim and Kevin (Tiffani); sister, Jean Opheim; brother, Tom (Lalon) Opheim; grandchildren, Andrew, Aaron, Andrea, and Michael; and nieces, Jean, Sara, and Nancy.
In honor of Jerry's wishes, there will be no formal services, but a celebration of his life at a later date. Memorials preferred to Frauenshuh Cancer Center, Methodist Hospital.
