George Mekola
November 27, 1927 — February 7, 2012
George Michael Mekola, age 84, died February 7, 2012, at his home in Pine River. His wife of 58 years and family were by his side.
George is survived by his wife, Mary; sons: Carl (Deb), Howard (Chris), Wayne, and Kevin; daughters: JoAnne, Becky and Stella. George had seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at The Warehouse in Pine River on Friday, February 10th, from noon until 2:30 PM.
