George Erickson

George Erickson was born in Pequot Lakes, MN on July 20, 1941, and passed away October 19, 2021. George liked working in the woods and spent most of his life around the Pequot Lakes area. In later years he resided at the Ammarilla House in Pine River, MN. George was very outgoing and uninhibited, so a lot of people knew him. At times he was comical and entertaining. He liked music, so when he got a dog, he named him "Buddy" after Buddy Holly. He and his dog became the best buddies.

Surviving are 3 brothers and 6 sisters: Walter (Barbara) of Hugo, MN, Jerry of Pine River, MN, Charles (Rosalee) of Brooklyn Park, MN, Lila Larson of Stacy, MN, Karen (Jim) Crimmins of Backus, MN, Judy Loren of Stacy, MN, Janet Garfield of Olathe, KS, Barbara (Lyle) Davies of Bella Vista, AR, Debbie Schraw of Duluth, MN; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, William and Margaret Erickson.

Memorial service will be 11 AM on Saturday, May 28, at Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes, followed by a luncheon. Private family inurnment will be held at the Pequot Lakes City Cemetery.
