Gene Peterson

Gene Peterson, age 61, of Pine River, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 1, 2011. He was born August 23, 1949, in Minneapolis, to Warren and Marie (Moser) Peterson.

Gene is survived by his wife, Beth; children, Kyle, Ellen and Grace; father, Warren; stepmother, Beulah; and sisters, Joan Lash and Jan Lash (Dick).

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie, and brother, Larry Ruud.

Services will be 2 PM on Saturday, February 5, at Crosslake Lutheran Church, Crosslake, with Pastor Marlys Korman officiating and Rev. Jerry Peterson participating. Burial will follow at Swanburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River and one hour prior to services at the church.
