Gary Schmidt

Gary Schmidt, age 59, of Brainerd, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at Heritage House in Pequot Lakes. He was born on August 4, 1956, in Cloquet, MN. Gary was a truck driver most of his working life and enjoyed fishing and crafts.

Gary is survived by his parents, Sherman and Shirley Schmidt of Pequot Lakes; brother, Mike Schmidt of St. Cloud; niece, Sarah; nephew, Jeremy; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Schmidt.

Services will be 11 AM on Saturday, February 13, at Pequot Lakes Baptist Church, 30028 Old Hwy. 371, Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Pequot Lakes Cemetery. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes.
