Franklyn Eck

Brainerd

Franklyn Anita Eck, 66, of Brainerd, passed away on April 24, 2026.

Franklyn was born on November 25, 1959, in California, to Frank and Edna (Kneght) Eck. As the daughter of a military family, she experienced a unique upbringing, moving frequently and gaining a broad perspective on life. She later graduated from Aitkin High School and continued her education at Central Lakes Vo-Tech.

Franklyn dedicated many years of her career to working at Lindar Corp., where she was known for her strong work ethic and reliability.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures and creative pursuits. She was talented in knitting and crocheting, often creating handmade items for those she loved. In quieter moments, she enjoyed writing poetry, expressing her thoughts and emotions through words. And her love for anything tiger and tigger related.

Franklyn is survived by her father, Frank; her brothers, John, Dave (Kim), and James; her sister, Betty Robertson; and her sister-in-law, Pamela Eck. She is also lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Edna; her brother, Keith; and Sister Janel.

Franklyn will be remembered for her creativity, resilience, and the quiet kindness she shared with those around her.

A visitation will be held from 4pm-7pm on Friday May 15th at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
