Evelyn Nordstrom

Evelyn Nordstrom, born April 7, 1914, died peacefully at her home in Pequot Lakes on Sunday, March 6, 2011. Evelyn attended Our Savior's Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir and was part of the quilting group for many years.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Young (Jay), and Mary Langland; and grandchildren, Jeremy, Joseph, Daniel, Andrew, Timothy, Matthew and Carly Rae.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, William Nordstrom; parents, Olivia and Ludwig Elstad; sister, Jeanette Morelan; brother, Victor Elstad; infant sister, Edna Elstad; and great grandson, John Kuehn.

Services will be 1 PM on Saturday, March 12, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Pequot Lakes, with Pastor Donna Olsen officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be 1 PM, Monday, March 14, Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
