Erik Anderson

It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of Erik Joseph Anderson, 35, of Crosslake, MN on June 7, 2026. Erik was born in Ideal Corners, MN on January 14, 1991, to Peter and Julie (Ohlgren) Anderson, and spent his childhood there. He graduated from Pequot Lakes High School in 2009 and worked at Moonlight Bay in Crosslake for many years.

Erik was loved by those who knew him. He was caring, adventurous, and deeply compassionate. Erik was a fun-loving uncle who played endless games with his nieces and nephews, and a beloved son and brother who was always first to say "yes" to a family get-together. Erik enjoyed mountain biking, weightlifting, and trips to Florida with his friends and with family to Mexico. He will be deeply missed.

Erik is survived by his mother, Julie; sisters, Noelle Seraphine and Rachel (Nicholas) Boettcher; nieces, Lola, Rowan and Remy; and nephews, Raziel and Auggie. He is preceded in death by his father, Peter.

A memorial service for Erik will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Northern Pines Mental Health Clinic.
