Elizabeth Clodfelder

Elizabeth "Liz" Clodfelder, age 66, of Pine River, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at her home. She was born February 2, 1945, in Brainerd, to Archie and Elene Shamp. Liz graduated from Pine River High School. She married her high school sweetheart, Lynn Clodfelder on August 8, 1964. Liz loved living on Lake Ada and having her family and friends gather at her home.

Liz is survived by her husband of 47 years, Lynn; daughters: Michele Clodfelder of Pine River, Rhonda Anderson (Frank) of Albany, MN; Kelly Nelson of Fargo, ND; son, Brian Clodfelder of Cambridge, MN; grandchildren: Jessica, Jaime, Jordan and Jarrette Stockman, Shawn and Ryan Anderson, Mason Nelson; great grandchildren: Cruz, Kia, and Brea; sisters: Isabel Carlson, Agnes Farnam (Keith) of Pine River, Patricia Melby of Pine River, Darene Oseien (Ben) of Henning, MN; brothers: Mike Shamp (Melanie), and Skip Shamp both of Pine River; 23 nieces and nephews; 50 great nieces and nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and nephew, Robert Paul Oseien.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to Carol Brening for the care and comfort she gave to Liz.

Services will be 10 AM on Saturday, May 28, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Pine River, with Father Bruce Engen officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
