Eleanor Laposky

Eleanor Jean Laposky, age 84, of Pine River, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Brookside Comfort Care, Pine River. She was born to Carl and Selma Putman on September 24, 1932, in Pierre, SD. Eleanor married Russell Laposky on March 6, 1955, in Huron, SD. Eleanor was a wonderful cook and dedicated caregiver. She will be remembered for her love of Jesus and her family.

Eleanor is survived by her husband, Russ; children: Jim (Jacquie), Dave (Bev), Mike, Lori Lee (Ron), Lisa Vik (Darren); brother, Edward Putman; grandchildren: Josiah Laposky, Ben Laposky, Adam Laposky, Chris Laposky, Nathan Laposky, Sarah Schwegel, Ryan Laposky, Laura Johnson, Justin Lee, Madeline Lee, Ethan Lee, Kirsten Vik, Kayla Satterlund, Tanner Vik; and 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lois Hermanson.

Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Jenkins Cemetery, Jenkins, MN.
