Elaine Hausfeld

Elaine Mae Hausfeld, 73, of Ironton, MN, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Fairview Hospital - Southdale in Minneapolis. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, June 1, 2015 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Bay Lake Township Cemetery near Brainerd.

Elaine was born September 9, 1941, in Oregon, the daughter of Edward Ralph and Eleanor Beatrice (Etzler) Bath. In 1969, she was married to Chester Tuey Hausfeld in Deerwood. The couple raised a family of five children in the Brainerd Lakes Area. Elaine trained to become a PCA and worked for Gratten Health for almost 10 years. Spending time with her family - at reunions, get-togethers, or for a night of karaoke always made her happy. Elaine also enjoyed dancing, bowling and taking care of her animals. She was proud of her recent KOP Award she received in TOPS. She will be missed.

She is survived by her children, Renee (Bill) Hix, Tammy (Steve) Ferrell, Sheri Hausfeld, Brian Hausfeld, and Scott Hausfeld; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; significant other, Eugene Davis; and her siblings, Earl Bath, Ernie Bath, Edward Bath, Eugene Bath, Ann Prchal, Joy Miller, and Evonne Bath. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chet; and step-son, Jerry.
