Elaine D. Cullett

Elaine Doris (Rogers) Cullett passed away peacefully at home on December 2, 2022

Elaine was born in Staples, MN on March 1, 1945 to George and Essie (Moon) Rogers.  Elaine grew up in the Pillager area and married John Cullett on October 19, 1962.  Together they raised six children in Brainerd.

Elaine loved her family, friends, and her pets.  As a homemaker, while the children were little, she was ever present at activities and school functions.  Elaine was active in Eastern Star as well as Job’s Daughters while the girls were growing up.  In the later years, she enjoyed spending time with her family and all her grandchildren.   She enjoyed reading romance novels and watching cop shows on TV. She looked forward to Saturday night dinners with her circle of friends. In the summers, she loved to raise and release monarch butterflies.

Preceding her in death were her parents George and Essie: brothers Leonard and Roy, brother-in law Howard, sister-in law Ilene, children Mark and Heather.

She leaves behind many loving family: her devoted husband of 60 years John. 

Children: Matt and Jenny Cullett, Teresa Goble, Barb and Craig Richards, Luke and Andrea Cullett, and Angela Cullett

Grandchildren: Maxwell, Jaxson, Saxton, Christopher, Arly, Joey, Tyanna, Alanna, Nathan, Sarah, Ayla, Marina, Emma, Elia, Katie, Spencer, and Adam.

Great Grandchildren: Tyler

Sister: Donna Meacham along with many nieces, nephews and friends. 

Lets not forget her beloved Chihuahua Brutus and cat Sandy.

She will be missed by many and her memory cherished forever. 

A memorial open house will be held on Saturday 12/10 from 2-5pm at the Eagles Club in Brainerd for friends and family.
