Dorothy Forrest, age 89, of Hackensack, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017, at Walker Rehabilitation Center. She was born to Carl and Irene Astrum on May 21, 1928, in Walker.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Thomas Forrest; daughter, Sandra Meyer (Dennis); brother, Dale Astrum; sisters, Gladys Vredenburg and Anna Marie Landsteiner; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Laurel; son, Jim Forrest; granddaughter, Linda Meyer; sisters: Ruth, Alice Jean, Helen and Karen; and brothers, Jack and Dick.
Memorial services will be held at 2 PM on May 5, 2018, at Union Congregational Church, Hackensack.
