Doris Rauen

Doris K. Rauen, 79, of Brainerd, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at St. Joseph's Medical Center. She was born on April 24, 1932, in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Max and Edna Jensen. Doris was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and knitting. She was an avid reader and liked to do crossword puzzles. She will be dearly missed and will live on forever in our memories.

She is survived by four children, Denise (Dean) Smith, Roy (Denise) Rauen, Debra Duy, and Steven Rauen; grandchildren, Stefanie, Heather, Jayson, Krista, Alicia, Shane, Blake, Bren, and Tiffany; and six great-grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Willis; her parents; Max and Edna; and sister, Karen Goodfriend.

Services for Doris will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 13, 2011 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services. Interment will take place at Baxter City Cemetery.
