Donna Joanne (Greeno) Miller went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 19, 2026. Donna was 97 years old. Donna was born in Staples, Minnesota on November 21, 1928. She was the daughter of Lillian Greeno. Donna attended Staples Public Schools and graduated in 1946. Donna married L.J. (Pat) Miller at the United Methodist Church, on July 17, 1948. They had three children: Kenneth, Douglas, and Jon. She worked at Staples State Bank for three years until she became pregnant with her first son. In 1964 Donna worked helping her husband with his photography business doing administrative tasks.

Donna loved to travel with Pat taking trips to Europe, Hawaii, Mexico, Greece and around the United States. Many trips were on Pat’s Harley motorcycle. Donna played piano and organ for 70 years for Sunday services, children’s programs, weddings, and funerals at the United Methodist Church. She was very active in her church organizing special music. Donna loved and served the Lord Jesus with all her heart. She was a prayer warrior whose faith guided her life. Donna’s life was a beautiful ministry of music, faith, and service, devoted above all to glorifying God. Those who knew Donna saw in her a faithful heart, a generous spirit, and a love for the Lord that touched countless lives. Her music was more than a talent—it was a testimony, a gift offered in worship and a source of encouragement to all who were blessed to hear it. Donna was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Donna had a huge gift of hospitality and opened her home to many foreign exchange students.
