Donna Hoffman

Donna Jean (Mielke) Hoffman, of Outing and Brainerd, died on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Woodland Nursing home, at the age of 89. She was born in Faribault, MN, on July 29, 1929 to Milo and Lavina (Erie) Mielke. Her Family moved to Robbinsdale, MN. On October 1, 1949, she married her childhood sweetheart, Kurt Hoffman, Jr., who grew up on Quail Avenue, across the street from her. Ten years later, they moved with their children, to Outing MN, where they lived until 2004, when Kurt, Jr. and Donna moved to Baxter, MN. Kurt, Jr. died in 2017.

Donna is survived by her children, Barbara (Robert) Oberg, Kurt III (Richard Omann), Kathy, and David; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and her brother Milo (Mick). She is preceded in death by her husband Kurt Jr, and her parents.

Her memorial service will be 11:00AM, Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Visitation will be during the hour prior to the service.
