Donna Gallion

Donna Marie Gallion passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 95.

Donna found happiness in the simple pleasures of life and especially enjoyed spending time outdoors. She loved fishing for crappies, watching the birds, and tending to her gardens, where she grew both vegetables and beautiful flowers. She was also a talented painter and enjoyed baking for her family and friends.

Some of Donna’s fondest memories were made alongside her husband, Philip. Together, they enjoyed square dancing and traveling, sharing many adventures throughout their years together. Above all, Donna treasured her family and the time spent with those she loved.

Donna is survived by her children, Tom (Kim) Gallion, Diane (Chris) Prescott, and Sue (Brian) Thomas; grandchildren, Natalie (Aaron) Everett, Matt Gallion, Aaron Dill (Lexi Loch), Ryan Thompson, and Taylor Thompson (Arianna Cormie); her sister Rosemary Breitbach, as well as other relatives and friends who will remember her with love.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Gallion; her parents, Anthony Sieben and Katie Verkennis; Iline Hart; and her stepfather, Barney Diedrich.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. A lunch and time of fellowship will follow the service.

A private family graveside service will be held.

Donna will be remembered for the many ways she brought beauty and joy into everyday life—from a flourishing garden and something freshly baked in the kitchen to time spent fishing, traveling, and enjoying the company of those she loved. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
