Donna M. Andres

Donna M. Andres, 89, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025, in Brainerd, Minnesota. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Randall, Minnesota. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the chapel. A luncheon will follow at St. James Catholic Church in Randall.

Donna was born on March 15, 1936, to George and Mary (Katterhagen) Gaffke in Browerville, Minnesota. She was a woman who took great pride and joy in the simple things that made a house a home. Donna loved tending to her garden, cooking and baking—especially her cherished apple pies—and keeping a welcoming and comfortable home for her family. Time spent with family and friends was what she treasured most.

She is survived by her children: Katherine (John) Scepurek of Jacksonville, NC; Gary (Cheryl) Andres of Fort Ripley, MN; Alan (Peggy) Andres of Otsego, MN; Susan (Don) Hanninen of Chaska, MN; Don (Jody) Andres of Baxter, MN; and Peggy (Greg) Geyerman of Lakeville, MN. Donna leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, her brother Bernard Gaffke and many nieces and nephews, all of whom brought her tremendous joy.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Andres; her siblings Mary Ann Drew, Gerald Gaffke, Gene Gaffke, Sherry Andres; and her grandchild, April Scepurek.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Woodland Senior Care in Brainerd. Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Randall.
