Donald Rogers

Donald E. A. Rogers, of Brainerd, MN passed away peacefully on March 23, 2024, at Harmony House in Motley, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday April 5, 2024, at 11:00am at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd. There will be a visitation held one hour prior to the start of the service at the church. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Brainerd. 

Donald was born on March 2, 1935, to the late Emma and William Rogers. His love story began when he married Patricia Jaglo on June 30, 1962, in Brainerd. They shared 44 devoted years together. He served 3 years in the Army. He worked 32 years at Potlatch. He was a member of the VFW and the Eagles Club. His favorite pastimes were traveling, dancing, and years spent in Arizona. His love of his life, his children and grandchildren were his greatest gifts of all. He will live in their hearts forever. 

Donald is survived by 3 daughters, Kristi (Brett) Dutton, Shireen Harris, Joy (Larry) Schultz, son in-law Larry Christensen, all of Brainerd, 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren and 2 on the way, one sister Shirley (Norman) Kuhn, nieces and nephews, and special friend, Lois Post. 

He is preceded in death by his wife Patricia, parents Emma and William, daughter Pam Christensen, son Marc Harris, Brothers Wesley, Robert, and Clifford, 3 sisters Lois, Marlys, and Beverly and great granddaughter Carilee Harris. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
