Donald Hansell

Donald Hansell, age 82, of Staples, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016, at Edgewood Vista, Brainerd. He was born to Kenneth and Margaret Hansell on May 9, 1933, in Minneapolis. Don was a talented western and wildlife artist. He sold his paintings in the Brainerd lakes area, Bismarck (ND) and Montana.

Don is survived by his sons: Dale and Flint Hansell (wife Connie); daughter, Tracy Hansell; daughter-in-law, Julie Hansell; sister, Patricia Kraft; grandchildren: Lara, Cory, Trenton, Jaden, Dathen, Travis, Alexandra, Reid, Morgan, Stewart, Chelsea; and great grandchildren, Anthony and Arrow. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene; and sons, Shane and Mitchell.

Services will be 11 AM on Wednesday, May 11, at Kline Funeral Home in Pequot Lakes.Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Burial will be in Moose Lake Cemetery, rural Pequot Lakes.
