Donald Etzler

Donald D. Etzler Born October 25th 1950, age 75 of Lincoln, MN arrived at Heavens Gate Truck Stop at Mile Marker 111, on March 9th 2026.

He started driving truck at the age of 17, enjoyed woodworking, watching old western movies, operating CAT equipment, sharing stories, jokes, and tales of the road. The open road was his love, setting the brakes one last time when he retired at 72.

He is survived by his daughter Roxanne Etzler and (Douglas Moeller), Son Chad Etzler (Shannon Bettis), Roger (Teresa) Etzler, Mike Etzler, Phyllis Plattner, Lois (Dwayne) Walters, Mark (Sheila) Etzler, Tom (Jeannie Johnson) Etzler, Randy Etzler, Nancy (Scott) Purington, Tony Etzler (Nikki Carlson) and many Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adolph and June Etzler, his brother Paul Etzler, his brother Kelly Etzler, his brother-in-law Mark Plattner, and his nephew Lance Plattner.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
