Don Corbin

Don Corbin of Crosslake, Minnesota died unexpectedly on August 29, 2021, at the age of 81.

Don is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sharon Corbin, his brother Paul, and nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Gracia, and brother Dick.

Don was born on January 12, 1940 in Des Moines, Iowa. He graduated from Drake University where he was a member of the track team.

Don was an avid gardener, angler, and enjoyed cooking. He loved all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Prior to his retirement, Don worked in the IT department at Onan Corporation in Fridley, Minnesota(now known as Cummins). After his retirement, Don enjoyed working at the library in Pine River, Minnesota and volunteered at Crosslake Lutheran Church.

Don will be greatly missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

Visitation will be Friday September 3, 2021 from 12:00pm – 1:00pm at Crosslake Lutheran Church.  The funeral service will be at 1:00pm on Friday September 3, 2021, followed by a light lunch at the church.  A private burial will be at Pinewood Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Crosslake.
