Dennis Mcnamara

Dennis L. McNamara, 66, of Backus, passed away at Essentia Hospital in Brainerd after a courageous battle with cancer. His wife and daughter were at his side. Dennis was born in Jones County, Iowa, on October 22, 1946, to Dennis and Mary McNamara. He was a young boy when his parents both passed away. He was raised by Gene and Alice Anderson, his other parents.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Jane; his daughter, Rachel and her family; his brothers, Vince and John; and sisters, Fran and Marg and their families in Iowa.

It was Dennis' wish that no funeral or memorial services be held. He was laid to rest at the Evergreen Cemetery in Backus.
