Dennis Michael “Denny Mike” Langerman, 73, of Brainerd, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, after a courageous battle with chronic illness.
If you knew Denny, you loved him. He was the life of every moment—bringing laughter, warmth, and energy wherever he went. He was a dedicated friend and prided himself so much in his family. He was committed to his varying careers, from his years of service in law enforcement to his skilled craftsmanship as a finish carpenter for Majka Construction. Denny had a deep love for the outdoors—including hunting with his sons, brothers, and nephews, skiing, playing softball, playing tennis and all water sports (including knee-boarding in his whitey tighties). Denny’s favorite pastime was a good round of golf. He loved sharing his passion for the game—whether giving tips, outdriving his son or simply enjoying the company of his many golf partners. His favorite partner of all, though, was his wife, Leesha, even if she occasionally gave him a run for his money on the scorecard. He was preceded in death by his father Ron and his mother Carol “Lois,”, his brother Ron, his sister in law Sharon and brother in law Jim.
He is survived by his loving wife, Leesha Flanagan; his daughters, Sara and Angela (Don); his sons, Michael and Marc (Kirsten); his siblings, Carol, Brad (Sue), and Cheryl (Chuck); his cherished grandchildren, Taylor, Austin, Kalob, Stella, Zoey, Miles, Izzy, Maddilyn, Lola, and Theo; and many beloved nieces, nephews, family members, and friends who will miss him dearly
A Celebration of Life with will be held Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Yesterday’s Gone in Brainerd. Light lunch and refreshments will be provided.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Denny by coming and sharing a memory, enjoying the outdoors or a playing round of golf in his memory.
