Deborah Marie Scherman

Deborah Scherman, 71, of Brainerd, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2023, in Brainerd, MN.

She is survived by her daughter Sarah Brydon (George), son Joseph Dill, granddaughter Esmeralda Brydon; sisters Mary Pat Hanauska (Kenneth), Elizabeth Anne Brelsford (Duffy), and brothers Richard (Renee) and John Bosco, along with her many nieces and nephews.

Deborah is preceded in death by her son Justin (10 months), brother Stephen and her parents Frank and Evelyn Scherman.

Much of Deb’s enjoyment of life was centered around her relationship with God’s creations and the beauty that they brought to her world. This love was a regular theme in her life; often seen in her creations, as well as in her writings. Deb had a deep spirituality that was reflected in her unique artwork and meditations. She loved flowers and spent hours in her garden. Deb called Brainerd and its many lakes, her home.
