Deborah L. Pangburn, 55, of Merrifield died on Thursday, December 30, 2010 as a result of a car accident. Visitation for Deborah will be on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 from 4:30-7:00 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
Deborah was born on June 23, 1955 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Ken and Marilyn (Gaustad) Thompson. She was a 1973 graduate of Roosevelt High School. She married Walter Pangburn in 1975. They resided in Bloomington until 2003 when they moved to Mission Township upon Walter's retirement from Minneapolis Park Board. Deborah (and Walter) worked for Mills Fleet Farm in Brainerd where she was proud to be part of the night stock crew.
Deborah most enjoyed her family and their camping trips to all Minnesota State parks. She loved walking and watching wildlife. She was loved by all who knew her and will be remembered for her loyalty, honesty, caring personality and her love of family.
Deborah will be sadly missed by her devoted husband of 35 years, Walter and their children, Karlee (David) Schramel and Dusten. She is also survived by her father, Ken Thopson; brothers, Gary Thompson, Tom (Karen) Thompson, Rob (Jane) Thompson; mother-in law, Mary Ann Foster; sisters-in law Bonita Pangburn, Kathleen (Randy) Jagodzinski. Debbie was a loving aunt and will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews, Jocelyn and Natalie Thompson, Brett, Blake, and Reid Thompson, Vanessa and Erika Bolden, Erin and Kasy Jagodzinski, Jeffrey and Daniel (Emily) Fisher and Justin Sabyan.
Deborah was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn; her sister-in-law, Marietta, and her nephew Colin Thompson.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter.
