We remember Dean Allen Fenske, who passed away on December 2, 2025. Born on July 27, 1962, in Montevideo, Minnesota, Dean grew up in a small town that taught him to appreciate the simple things in life. His family were members of the local golf course, where Dean discovered the passion that would stay with him for a lifetime. Dean’s love of nature and his devotion to golf eventually led him north to the Brainerd Lakes Area, where he spent most of his years. There, among the lakes, woods, and rolling fairways, he found his true sanctuary. Dean loved the outdoors in every season, whether he was out hunting, playing the course, or simply admiring the birds and wildlife.
Family meant everything to Dean, he was a proud Father and an even prouder Papa. Becoming a grandfather brought out a tenderness and joy that defined the best parts of him.
Dean was preceded in death by his father, Lowell Fenske. He is survived by his mother, Shirley Fenske; his siblings, David Fenske and Deanna Fenske; and his children, Kellie Germain, Austin Fenske, and Winsten Fenske. He will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, the brightest part of his world. Dean’s legacy is one of a kind, a deep love of nature, and the unwavering devotion of a father and grandpa. May he rest in peace and may those who loved him find comfort in the memories he leaves behind.
Dean's family plans to do a memorial late spring or early summer of 2026. More information will be available soon.
Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
