Dean Alexander

Dean A. Alexander "Trucker Dean" was born May 27th, 1948, in Backus. Jesus wrapped His arms around him on June 7, 2013, at his home in Backus.

Dean is survived by his son, Zac (Mary); daughter, Rebecca (RJ); his awesome grandchildren: Chase, Bailey, Chaia, Elijah, Becket; brothers: Peter (Linda), Jim (Brenda), Wade (Tammy); sister, Cynthia (John); many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel; father, Peter; and sister, Melinda.

Dean took joy in owning his logging company for 30 years and driving semi across the country. He was an active "trucker buddy" in his grandchildren's schools. He made many memories camping fishing, sightseeing and laughing. He was a diamond in the rough that will truly be missed.

A memorial gathering will be held on June 16, at 1:00 P.M. at the Pine Mountain Pavilions in Backus.
