David Sheldon

David Hiram Sheldon, age 89, of Backus, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017. David was born to Hiram P. and Lillie E. (Wittstruck) Sheldon in Grand Rapids, MN, on January 25, 1928.

Dave is survived by his sons, Scott (Jacque), Don (Beth), David (Bennett) and Shawn (Sandy); daughter, Deanna; son-in-law, Larry Blake; brother, Joeseph; special nephew, Herb (Rita) Underhill; grandchildren, Bryan, Kelli, Bobby, Danny, Melissa and Tylor; great grandchildren, Morgan, Paige, Zayne, Mackenzie, Hunter and Maverick; as well as many other friends and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hiram and Lillie; daughters, Bonnie and Patricia; his brother, Samuel; two sisters, Marjorie and Madaline.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Private family inurnment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Backus, at a later date. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
