David Nelson

David Alden Nelson, born June 17, 1935, to Victor and Lucille (Peacock) Nelson, in Slayton, MN, passed away on September 5, 2026, in Pine River, MN.

David was a hard worker, jack of all trades, and an entrepreneur. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and could build anything, even restoring tractors.

David is survived by his children, Terri (Rick), Todd (Traci), Kory (Deanna), and Chad (Lisa); and brothers, Ray (Lucille) and Lynn (Kathy).

David is preceded in death by his wife, Ardella; son, Jeff; grandson, Alex; granddaughter, Cheyanne; and great-grandson, Isaac.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on October 3, 2026, at The Log Church in Crosslake. A visitation will be held the hour prior to the service and a luncheon will follow the service.
