David Borgerding

David Borgerding, age 73, of Backus, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2009. He was born May 23, 1935 in Melrose, MN to Leo and Agnes Borgerding. He served in the United State Marine Corp from 1954 to 1962.
Dave is survived by his wife, Marjorie; stepchildren: Gregg, Lisa (Jim); brother, George Borgerding (Rosie); many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Tom, Carl, and Paul.
A gathering of friends and family will be Wednesday, January 14 from 4 to 7 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Interment service with military honors will be 9:30 AM on Thursday, January 15 at the Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery, Camp Ripley.
