David Barrett

David R. Barrett, 75, of Baxter, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Good Samaritan Society - Woodland in Brainerd. Services for David will be held at 11 AM, Monday, April 18, 2011 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter with Mike Kneeland officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services. The family requests that friends and neighbors join them for lunch following the service in Brenny's Reception Room.

David was born April 8, 1936 in Brainerd, the son, of Russell and Alice (Marohn) Barrett. David worked at Potlatch his entire career. He retired as Super Calender Operator. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and traveling.

David will be missed by his wife, Kathryn; daughter, Theresa (Roy Rohl) Barrett; sisters, Nancy (Stan) Kangas, Donna Lieberg, Mary Ann (Tom) Hazelwood; and brothers, Wallie (Sylvia) Barrett and Dan (Marcie) Barrett. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tim; and sister, Janet.
