Darline Molde

Darline Joy Molde, an 85-year-old resident of Lake Alexander, passed away at her lake home on June 21, 2025.

Funeral services will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church in Cushing on June 30, 2025. Visitation begins at 10am with the service starting at 11am.

Darline was born in Montevideo on November 10, 1939, to Arvid and Arline Miller. Darline grew up in Cottonwood, MN. She graduated from Cottonwood High School in 1957 and attended the Lutheran Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing.

She married Donald Molde on November 26, 1960. Where they spent the next 30 years in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. After Don’s retirement, they moved to Lake Alexander and built a home where the cabin once stood.

Darline dedicated her life to nurturing loving relationships and creating cherished memories with those fortunate enough to know her.

She will be deeply missed but never forgotten, living on in the hearts of those she loved.

Left to cherish in memory is their daughter, Deb (Mike) Johnson of St. Cloud.

Four grandchildren; Ryan (Clara) Minneapolis, Chad (Jacki) St. Joseph, Jason (Stephanie) Baxter, Cami of Mound.

Five great grandchildren; Sophie, Carol, William, Charlotte, Katie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son, Mark.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in her name, reflecting her generous spirit and love of others.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Randall.
