Dale “Art” Noble, 80, of Motley, MN passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Lakewood Health System Care Center in Staples, MN. Services for Art will be 11:00AM, Monday, October 2, 2017 at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Motley, MN, with Father Joe Korf officiating. Visitation will be 5-7PM, Sunday, October 1 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples and one hour prior to services at the church. Military Honors provided by Motley American Legion Post #124.
Art was born October 1, 1936 in Hay Springs, NE to Dale “Jack” and Helen (Barth) Noble. He grew up in the Sand Hills of NE and later moved with his family to Minnesota. Art served his country in the US Army and was stationed in Germany. He was a several time champion for professional bronc riding and rodeo in Nebraska. Art had a real passion for his ranch, bronc riding, and rodeos. He enjoyed fishing and firearms. Most important to him was spending time with his kids and grandkids.
Art is survived by his children, Quincey (Roxanne) Noble of Stockton, CA, Steven Noble of Los Angeles, CA, Luke (Amber) Noble of Motley, MN; grandchildren, Wade, Cody and Elizabeth; sister, Maxine (Marvin) Farmer of Rapid City, SD. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Helen; and sisters, Ione and Donna. Services have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.
Visitation Sunday, 10/1, 5-7 pm at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, and at the church one hour prior to service.
