Dale Burke

Dale Burke, age 74, of Backus, passed away Monday, May 13, 2013, at the Good Samaritan Society, Pine River. He was born to Warren and Marcia Burke on October 25, 1938, in Minneapolis. Dale was a 5th grade teacher until his retirement. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was also a reserve police officer for the Minneapolis Police Department.

Dale is survived by his nephew, Jason Burke (Mindy); niece, Lisa McClintock (Michael); great nieces: Brooke Pearson, MaKayla McClintock; great nephews: Maxwell Raymond Burke, Reid McClintock and Levi McClintock.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Don and Gene.

Services will be 2 PM on Friday, May 17, at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
