Clifford Mykkanen

Clifford Mykkanen, 81, of Nisswa, died Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Essentia Health - St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. Services for Clifford will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 16 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services. Interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Brainerd.

Clifford was born on March 26, 1930 in Pequot Lakes, MN to David and Nan (Holmquist) Mykkanen. Clifford joined the Army in 1947. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister. He is survived by his wife, Donna of 57 years; children, Ralph (Dawn), Vicki, and John (Denise); sisters, Shirley Niederer, and Marylou (Jack) Ruff; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Michanen; and many nieces and nephews; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
