Charlotte Christner

Charlotte Y. (Crowell) Christner, 95, of Golden Horizon's Assisted Living in Crosslake, formerly of North Saint Paul, died Thursday, September 15, 2016. She was 95.

Born in Minneapolis on August 23, 1921, Charlotte was the daughter of William and Mildred (Kavlie) Crowell. She married Lyle Christner in 1941. The couple made their home in North Saint Paul where they raised their family. Charlotte was a homemaker who also sold Avon and worked various jobs outside of the home.

She will be missed by her daughters. Gerri Hawkins (Bonnie), Cindy Saunders, Pamela (Ed) Moen; sons, Donald (Sandy), Jack (Pam), and Alec (Luanne); and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and daughter, Linda.

Interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery and a luncheon celebrating Charlotte's life will be held at K & J Catering in North St. Paul on Monday, October 10, 2016 at 1:00 PM.
