Charles Rieschl

Charles Lincoln Rieschl, known to family and friends as Chuck, passed away peacefully on December 9th at Good Samaritan Care Center in Pine River, Minnesota. A longtime resident of Crosslake, MN, Chuck was 88 years old.

Chuck graduated from North High School in 1955 and proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1956 to 1958. After his military service, he built a successful career and retired from Sheehy Construction in 1996.

He was a man who loved the outdoors and had a deep passion for boating and motorcycling, enjoying the freedom and adventure they brought throughout his life.

Chuck is deeply missed by his loving family, including his sons Jeff Rieschl (Sue) and Brett Rieschl (Jessica), his beloved grandchildren, Casey, Rose, and Lucy, and his partner in life, Sheila Severson.

A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor at the Crosslake American Legion on Saturday, January 3rd, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A tribute to Chuck will begin at 4:30 PM, followed by a short Color Guard ceremony outside. Food will be served.

Chuck’s smile and sense of humor will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at Good Samaritan in Pine River as well as many neighbors and friends for their tremendous care and support this last year.
