Charles Kargel

Charles L. Kargel, 72, died Sunday, February 26, 2017, at his home in Pine River. He was born August 8, 1944, in Dearborn, MI, the son of Leonard and Velma Kargel.

Charles is survived by his mother, Velma Kargel of Pequot Lakes; wife of 32 years, Naida Kargel; sons, Greg, Larry (Jenny), Brian (Jessica) and grandchildren, Blake, Kaylen, Dylan, Andrew, Logan, Maizie, Ashley and Grace, all of Brainerd; siblings, Wilretta (Clyde), Larry (Carol), Myron (Nancy), JoAnne, Judy (Roger), Mark (Lynette); and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard, and brother, Richard.

Celebration of Life will be 1 PM on Saturday, March 4, at Brainerd Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Jonathan LeMaster officiating. Visitation will begin at 11 AM and luncheon will follow the service. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
