Charles Gentry

Charles "Charlie" L. Gentry, 63, of Pequot Lakes, passed away Saturday, August 19, at St. Joseph's Medical Center, Brainerd. He was born to Clyde and Jessica (Crawford) Gentry on September 30, 1953, in Kirksville, MO. Charlie met Barbara Nolan in 1970 and the couple married in 1975. Charlie loved truck driving over the road. He enjoyed fishing with his boys and grandkids. Charlie especially enjoyed time spent with his family.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Jessica Gentry; brother, Bill Gentry; dad, Fred Swanson; brothers-in-law, James and Patrick Nolan; and sister-in-law, Patricia Nolan.

He is survived by his wife, Barb, of Pequot Lakes; twin sons, Shawn Gentry (Sarah) of Jenkins, Vaughn Gentry (Kari) of Merrifield; five grandchildren, Jenna, Ethan, Taten, Adison and Sydnie Gentry; Barb's mom, Dolores Swanson, of Pequot Lakes; his brother, Wayne Ross, of California; many nieces, nephews, and other family.

Services will be 2 PM on Saturday, August 26, at Charlie's home, 4990 Akerson Rd., Pequot Lakes, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes.
