Carrie Vensland

Carrie Venlsand, age 95, of Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018, at Brookdale Assisted Living in Champlin, Minnesota. She was born to Samuel and Martha Groven on September 1, 1922, in Thief River Falls, Minnesota.

Carrie is survived by her children: David Vensland (Mary), Rick Vensland, Diane Jackson (Lorne); eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gilbert; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lawrence Groven (Eunice) and LeRoy Groven (Mona); sister, Hazel Olson; and daughter-in-law, Sharon Vensland.

Services will be 11 AM on Friday, September 7, 2018, at Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Pequot Lakes City Cemetery.
