She loved to cook and bake and entertain family and friends with elaborate meals and always dessert. Carol was an accomplished musician and pianist. She enjoyed accompanying her school choir, weddings, and playing the organ at her church. Carol loved to write stories and poetry. She had several of her books published and won several awards. Her proudest achievement was to win the John Lennon Award for a song she wrote. She was a proud supporter of the Lakes Area Music Festival (LAMF). She never missed a performance and received a standing ovation from LAMF.

Carol’s favorite time was getting together with her family. She loved sharing stories and singing silly songs with her grand-children and great grandchildren, making conversation with wildlife and taking nature photographs. She loved cuddling with her two cats who gave her great comfort.
