Carl Schirmer Sr., 89, of Brainerd, passed away peacefully at Edgewood Vista on February 10, 2020.
Carl is survived by his wife of 66 years, Sharon; son, Carl Jr. (Karen) Schirmer; three grandchildren, Emily Schirmer, Kelsey (Scott) Nelson, Ben (Angie) Heyen, and four great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Robin Heyen; grandson, Josh Schirmer.
