Carl Benson

Carl V. Benson, 71, of Pequot Lakes died at his home on Monday, February 25, 2013. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 8, 2013 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Baxter with Pastor Lilja Behr officiating. Family and friends are welcome to gather one hour prior to services. Interment with Military Honors will follow services at 2 PM at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Camp Ripley.

Carl is survived by his wife, Shirley; son, Tim, of Andover; grandson, David, of Thief River Falls; and siblings, Ben (Joanne) Benson, Ilona (Ron) Rooney, Kathy Gillette, and Robert (Ruth) Benson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Gertrude (Maki) Benson and his brother, Edward Elmer "Eddie" Benson.
