Bruce Grave

Bruce E. Grave passed away at home on Sunday, August 22, 2021 surrounded by family. A visitation will take place from 1:00- 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, with a time of sharing at 2:30 pm. Burial will take place at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 10 am.

Bruce was born in Minneapolis, MN on October 28, 1934 to Wilson and Eva (West) Grave. He served 3 years 9 months in the US Navy and was honorably discharged. Bruce married Carol Tonsager on May 21, 1960, and together they moved to Pequot Lakes, MN. Here they operated a Greenhouse Garden Center for over 26 years. In retirement, Bruce enjoyed building oak furniture, making stain glass windows and lamps for family, and delivering meals on wheels.

Bruce is survived by his wife Carol; sons Scott (Shari) Jeffrey (Christine), and Brian (Shannon); 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; brother Gary (Karen); 2 nieces and 1 nephew.
