Bruce Wayne Galley, age 67, of Brainerd died peacefully in his home on September 30,2025. He left his wife’s arms to his loving Savior’s arms.
Bruce was born on June 14,1958 in Owatonna, MN, son of Wayne and Frances (Marquette) Galley. He was also a stepson to Nellie (Westlake)Galley. Bruce graduated from Dodge Center High School. Bruce followed his dream of moving to Brainerd, where he married the love of his life, Carie Ann Luehmann. Just like that, two families became one! Bruce and Zachary, Carie and Ashley, who he lovingly adopted later.
Bruce worked the majority of his career as a Fuser in the natural gas distribution industry. He was a proud member of the Local 405 out of Rochester for 30+ years. After his retirement, he set about perfecting his grilling and smoking techniques. Like everything else Bruce touched, he was quickly a master, and he loved cooking for his family! Bruce took great pride in serving his church family as well. In his spare time, you could find him fishing, out on the boat, four wheeling, hiking or of course, playing with his grandkids.
Bruce leaves behind a legacy of strength, hard work and quiet grace. He loved mightily and was fiercely loyal to those who were lucky to call him a friend. Bruce was a beloved husband, steadfast father, and amazing Grandpa to his 6 grandkids. Grandpa or Papa was easily his favorite title. He wore it proudly and lived it effortlessly.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Carie; Children; Zachary Galley, Baxter, MN, Ashley (Eldon) Roberts, Brainerd, MN. Grandchildren: Aidan Roberts, Alex Roberts, Aliseia Luehmann-Peterschick, Lusetta Galley, LeVander Galley, and Elizabeth Roberts.
