Brenden James Fenstermaker, 18, of Brainerd, MN, was tragically taken from us on Friday, September 22, 2017. He had a heart of gold and an infectious smile that stayed with you for days after you had last seen him. He walked his own path which was evident by his taste in weird obscure music. He loved to wear camo and tuck his pants into his boots. His passion was hunting and the outdoors. He was happiest sitting in a goose blind cancelling flights. He dreamed of one day owning his own resort and guide service. The only thing he loved more than hunting was his family. Family to him was anybody he knew that he could make laugh. He was a natural born athlete and loved his teammates. He looked up to and admired his coaches. Even at his young age he touched many, many lives. If you had Brenden in your life you were truly blessed.
Brenden is survived by his mom, Tessa (Clayton); Dad, Aaron; sister, Lydea; brothers, Alex, Carter, Reed, Connor; grandparents, Curt Peterson, Bev Peterson, Bonnie Fenstermaker; uncles, Ryan Peterson, Daniel Fenstermaker (Nancy); girlfriend, Taylor Vredenburg; and fur baby, Ava. He is also survived by his bonus family: grandparents, Clayton and Lori Caird; brother, Clayton; sister, Samantha; special friends, Buck Volk, Devyn Richards, Timmy Bardeaux and Leighton Kangas.
